Many substance abuse agencies must deal with clients who have convictions and therefore a relationship with the criminal justice system. This training examines the inner workings of the prison, probation and parole systems and participants are able to develop or hone programs that address the grief, loss and anger of clients who have been incarcerated as well as developing the resilience these same clients embody. Please be advised that effective immediately we will be charging $5.00 for each Continuing Education Unit (CEU) certificate requested and provided. The trainings will continue to be free of charge. Trainers will be unable to accept any form of payment so checks or money orders may be mailed either before the training or afterward.
