Some basic tenets of motivational interviewing are introduced here to look at "resistant" behavior in clients. Participants learn techniques to use and "traps" to avoid to produce the most developmental and therapeutic results for their clients. Case studies provide insight into the cultural components of client behavior and counselor/caregiver response. Please reserve your space at least 24 hours in advance by calling 626.332.3145.

Please be advised that effective immediately we will be charging $15.00 for each Continuing Education Unit (CEU) certificate requested and provided. The trainings will continue to be free of charge. Trainers will be unable to accept any form of payment so checks or money orders may be mailed either before the training or afterward.
